I don't think he has enough information to be diagnosing her with PD. At the most he should just maybe mention some of her "obvious" symptoms and suggest she see her doctor.

You should tell that person and also that he or she can ivercome it by doing fast walking, as many others hav esuccessfully done. Be HONEST!

I’ve become more self-conscious over time, so I think about whether people notice my symptoms. Sometimes I even wonder whether a neurologist would say something to me.

Have not read the paper.

I am a physician myself.

9 years ago a medical colleague who was a geriatrician who looked after the older Parkinson's patient in his area pointed out my subtle signs of Parkinsons when I was doing a temporary contract in his area.

We had worked together as residents about 20 years back.

I was gratefulbut delayed seeking a formal diagnosis. I might have been better off taking his advice to get assessed.
