Ultra-micronized Palmitoylethanolamide for Parkinson's

We are planning to start my PD mother who is 59 years old with Ultra-micronized Palmitoylethanolamide. I have few beginner queries:

1. Are there PD patients here in this forum already taking um-PEA?

2. Do you find improvements when used alongside the regular PD medications?

3. What could be a reasonable starting dosage for an early onset PD patient?

Thanks, any response or leads would be helpful as well.

I've been taking PEA since about a year or so after diagnosis 2-18 per my Functional Neurologist (who has since moved on to research and I no longer see). :*(

She gave me a list of supplements to take and PEA in combination with Borage Oil and Quercetin are on my list to take for the balance of my life. Do they help? I don't know for sure, but I am still working and doing life pretty well at this point.

I recently went back to water aerobics after several years of not exercising due to other health issues and that has drastically improved my overall functioning...highly recommend exercise! Not all of us can do land based exercise, but that is even better if you are able to! Keep moving! All the very best to you!

i’ve just read reports about um-Pea and am interested. Can you report if it helps and if so how much you take and where you get it from. Many thanks.

I wrote Mitopure, Their response was, Mitopure is high quality Urolithin A. So the Ultra-micronized should be fine.
