Too bad we've lost our sense of smell
Hi Marc, it's interesting and new for me. To be tried immediately. At worst we'll come out smelling good. Thanks
in the report you cited , see section 1.4 . They mentioned that impaired sense of smell due to Parkinson’s could be helped with this olfactory therapy I’m going to try it with my husband who has Parkinson’s induced loss of sense of smell.
Very interesting. I've certainly read this about Rosemary essential oil for memory and have started diffusing it at night. However my burner turns off after an hour - I must find one that goes all night! I can't see why actually registering the smell of it would be important so it's something for everyone - good for morning room smell too!
it is the novelty that is important, use different odours, each night.
seem to work with a little as 4
Some essential oils can be dangerous for dogs, so double check your choices.
"Rosemary essential oil may have health benefits, including supporting brain function ..."
So has anyone tried this yet?
"...improved functioning was observed in the left uncinate fasciculus,." So fun to read , left uncinate fasciculus is deficient in my deficient brain. Now I have to research left uncinate fasciculus. This interests me because I've had decades olfactory hallucinations. Is this how my deficient brain is dealing with olfactory hallucinations?
THIS is the kit they used in the study. $238. I will find something cheaper! diffuserworld.com/store/Aro...
Hi there. I have hopefully posted my experiences of essential oils and a diffuser.
I typed a quite long missive and thought that I had posted it as a reply to yourself Unfortunately I can ynot navigate my way back to it now
For some reason I can only access this sight via my phone at present which makes it a bit difficult.
Please let me know
M-o-ggy,
I'll look for it and post it when I find it. I seem to have a vague recollection of it.
I don't doubt essentail oils do some people some good. bolt has posted as much too and who am I to doubt bolt. I just felt the claims made by that person who had just joined HU that day to make $ from selling the stuff, were over the top.
