I was a little confused by the CUE1 branding as there is a current heavy study underway in the UK NHS to trial a CUE band.

CUE band is to stop drooling and worn on the wrist. The study is posting out wrist bands to keep. They only want the data back.

This CUE1 is a different product and private company. Its worn on the chest to help movement.

They both seem to use vibration technology.

I can't find any independent study data for CUE 1 to prove it's worth. Though Addenbrooks has recently bought 10 to trial with some of their patients. I look forward to their reported findings:

Thank you for this. The CueBand is an entirely different device. Had not heard about it until now.

Any idea if CUE1 improves speech?

Hi Jay. This is covered in the video and Q&A. Someone asked that question and Lucy responded positively.

Thank you. I hate to be cynical but I guess there’s no political advantage in getting it here

Big Pharma has to approve it, not FDA. . . Big Pharma is the global cabal who decide about everything!

Do they still have the big Persian cat?

They hope to have FDA approval by the middle of next year and to start distributing in the US by the end of next year.

Pardon my language, but the wretched FDA is sitting on its arse, and doing nothing. CUE has approached the FDA a long time back for approval and there is no progress. Given the reciprocity between FDA and European Agency, one would have assumed that the FDA approval would have been a slam dunk.

we missed the Silver Bullet so will catch up with the recording. My husband has had his Cue1 for nearly a year now. He doesn’t get freezing but it has enabled his walking pace to remain pretty consistent. Mostly wears it everyday, we’re in the South of France at the moment so hasn’t used it much here as we re worried about it accidentally going in the swimming pool. Doing some aqua aerobics, swimming and walking.

Hi Zelĺa Has it improved your husbands walking gait ?

Can I ask how much it cost ?

Zella23 profile image
Zella23 in reply to CuriousMe12

It seems to keep the walking gait and stride more consistent. When he used to walk without it stride and gait varied. It can still vary and require concentration but I have noticed he often now swings his arms naturally without noticing when walking. He gets into his stride faster. It cost just under £300 I think.

Thank you, Michel having a great time, so far no dyskinesia! Must be more relaxed, and not so much focused on symptoms although as we all know PD symptoms are variable to say the least!
