Hi.

We HAD Mindy Bixby who was the #1 rated movement disorder neurologist with Scripps. She moved to Hoag in Orange County. Then we went to The Neurology Center in Carlsbad and got Abigail Lawler who was the director for movement disorder in San Diego. She's now leaving. Melissa Houser is with Scripps and has an ok rating. Right now we are in a wait and see holding pattern to see if they replace Dr. Lawler with someone. She's due to be completely done in October and is only doing zoom appts. until then. So so disappointing!!!

So let me know if you find someone! I will do the same.

Better yet!!!! Just heard about the group at UCSD. One of the head MD docs is not just the lead but he is the top movement disorder doctor in the NATION!!! They are doing many cutting edge research projects. You have to send the most current notes on your PD to them before they will accept you. The scheduling # is 858-657-8540. They will direct you in more detail. Good luck!! Fingers crossed that we can get in to see them.
