Regarding the seven ingredients to avoid – often listed as "inactive" ingredients:
No reason to be concerned about magnesium stearate – stearic acid is common in food – abundant in animal fat and can be found in vegetable lipids as well. Nothing wrong with the magnesium salt of it, either.
On the other hand, titanium dioxide is bad for you and has been banned as a food or medication additive in in Europe. For additional information see my writing here: Titanium Dioxide In Food – Not A Good Idea tinyurl.com/yxus4t6f
Curcumin is not a substitute for glucosamine.
Agree that ingesting talc is a terrible idea. I have not seen it added to supplements but I have seen it listed as an inactive ingredient added to OTC meds such as aspirin.
