Biogen Alzheimers drug approval a mistake?

You might have heard the news already. The FDA approved Biogen's drug Aduhelm (aducanumab). Everyone seems to be celebrating. See @jimcaster 's post :

Not so fast, says this opinion piece from a Bloomberg writer:

Why I am not joyous about this announcement:

- at $56,000 per year / person, it will likely take money from other parts of health care;

- it signals an acceptance of post-hoc analysis: if a trial gives the wrong answer, collect more data, and try again

don't tell the believers and those who own Biogen stock about "post-hoc analysis" problems...(i.e. after the fact manipulation of the data).
