Supposedly this treatment is considered quackery according to the article at trialsitenews.com/medical-q.... I always wondered if my condition was brought on by a cyst that was found in the pineal region of my brain. Makes sense to me that it could be effecting the hormones that regulate my sleep-wake system, which in turn made me more susceptible to a neurodegenerative disease like Parkinsons.

So is everything that is not the mainstream medicine according to neurologists ;)

This is very interesting. I’ve learned a lot about the Pineal Gland with Dr Joe Dispenza as he focuses on it a lot in his meditations calling it the “radio receiver” and he believes it plays a huge role in regulating health.

Additionally my symptoms usually show up towards the end of the day and once I sleep and wake up I’m good again most the day. It’s like things get fixed during the night, but as the day progresses I have too much or not enough of something.

I tried to pick through some articles to see if the patches were available, do you know if it’s medicinal or pharmaceutical. I’m going to look for a clinic in my area this week to see what I can find out.

I found this interesting because generally there is focus on melatonin, but not the other components mentioned in this video.

It seems to have a working relationship synergistically

I watched a long YouTube video on this subject about two years ago. The researchers claimed they had a clinic setup in France where they would conduct clinical trials. There was a Facebook page, but I never saw it get updated and as I recall there were quite a few people asking for updates on the page and wondering why there weren’t any.

I’ll try to find a link to the Facebook page and to the old are YouTube video.

The clinic is called Fonds Josefa.

Here is the link to the long video, it’s an hour-long interview:

So in essence, go to sleep by 10 pm, wake up by 6am??

The links between poor sleep and the development of Parkinson's are very strong. And Parkinson's affects sleep quality - a bi-directional relationship. The pineal may be involved. That said, this looks odd. I have worked with sleep and Parkinson's for a long time, have a close family member with PD, and have never heard of Valentonine. It seems to be a term coined by Jean Bernard Fourtillon, who has a patent application on transdermal patches containing Valentonine which he calls "the hormone of sleep" . Some reports say the Valentonine was his discovery. Jean Bernard Fourtillon's trial on his patches was stopped by the French authorities, who considered it an unauthorised scam. The best article is this one, in French leparisien.fr/societe/sante...

None of this means that it doesn't work, but it does mean that we should ask intelligent questions.

Agreed. Unfortunately after 5 years of fighting against this disease, and slowly losing, i am at a very fragile state mentally.

Everyday i check google multiple times for 'Parkinson's cure' and am willing to try anything that I can afford to use.

Example: 1 clove garlic on day 1, building up to 21 cloves on day 21, and reducing 1 clove a day from day 22. I am today on 11 cloves reducing. 10 more days to go.

No improvement yet. 😢

Intelligence tells me this is stupid, but I am still going through this process, hoping for a miracle.

Hi Jay

Have you ever increased your levodopa intake? I saw you are taking one 100/25 three times a day. Plenty of people need more than that.

Have you tried taking vitamin D and K2? According to the info I see posted from here and on youtube & internet, they also help with brain like alzheimer's, parkinson's and other things.

B1 I feel help me with energy.

Looks like many people find Mannitol helps too.

I take this twice a week:

I use meditation to activate my Pineal Gland. It’s easy to do during the night and I believe I can actually hear it. Dr Joe has meditation’s and training specific to this.

At year 5/6 I’ve gotten better not worse, a lot better actually. I have no fear of the disease and have restored my confidence, this was expedited for me by attending his event. Now only dealing with two symptoms, occasional tremor and occasional gait disturbance, but had previously a long list of symptoms. I also sleep really well. The Mucuna works better for me now than early on, not sure why, always used Barlowes.

Glad to hear that. I am in India. Very few (read none) of the big names, like Hinz, Mischley, Dispenza, etc. have any presence here, except via YouTube videos, which is not comparable to actual in person training / sessions.

All the heavily studied and learned neurologists are only interested in patients on a conveyor belt, 3 patients examined every 15 mins. Their time is money, our life is not important.

No one talks of or listens to non-conventional ideas. They will not even listen to anything other than 'accepted line of treatment'

This leaves us to research and experiment on ourselves, and take comfort in forums like HU and in testimonials from unknown members, whom we don't even know if their testimonials are true.

This book has a lot to say about stimulating the pineal with vibrations from chanting mantras.

I have made this a part of my meditation program, and while I am hardly about to claim it as a cure, it does make me feel pretty good. I suspect that the more things that can contribute to a restorative, healing, parasympathetic neurological state, the better. Besides, the idea that vibration in the skull stimulates the pineal, pituitary etc etc doesn’t seem unlikely.

France started a trial last year of the Valentonin patch and was shortly shut down by government authorities who described it as an illegal trial! Don't all drugs start with research, followed by animal studies and then human safety trials and then followed by human efficacy trials? The research is already there, so did they skip the animal studies? There are animal PD models available and animals produce melatonin also.

thelocal.fr/20190920/france...

Melatonin itself has already shown benefit in human trials and more recently a human trial in PWP that showed benefit in just 12 weeks with no ill effects as outlined here :

healthunlocked.com/parkinso...

Is it really such a stretch to think that one or both of the other pineal secreted molecules might also benefit PWP?

Very interesting. Will have to see what can be found about their System of disease development. It sure seems to fit right in with the discusion about Melatonin. The discussion of HDM DOES NOT REALLY FIT, but is not discarded or debunked.

I have a feeling that that old saying " follow the money " is involved.

Sapyeye 2020,

The dose used in the new melatonin PD study was only 10 mg/ night, so not really a HDM study. If the three molecules mentioned are normally in a ratio and they are planning on bringing Valentonin up via the patch, it is likely to be closer in ratio to the 10 mg dose of melatonin if they are trying to achieve more natural levels of these pineal gland secretions.

Unfortunately, we may never no what such a study will show unless someone else picks up where they left off. I imagine once the French government shuts them down in this way, they will keep an eye on this company for years to come.

There are supposedly ways to stimulate the pineal gland and maybe those are worth looking into. The pineal gland has shown that it can become encumbered by calcium deposits which will reduce output of these three molecules so that seems like a place to start and there are endless suggestions on the internet how to do that.

Here is the patent that they hold on this treatment :

Fluoride damages the Pineal Gland. Dr Joe Dispenza says fluoride causes calcification in the brain.

I installed a whole house water system in February which removes fluoride among other things.

It’s wine or water for me!

JayPwP profile image

Fluorinated water is being distributed by governments even though there is no evidence of any health benefits

I think Reverse Osmosis systems remove fluoride from water, but also removes other essential minerals
