Hi, I want to know which is better for the patient to take Siffrol 0.7mg or Stalevo 100/25/200mg. I want to know the difference.
Difference between Siffrol and Stalevo - Cure Parkinson's
Difference between Siffrol and Stalevo
If it was as simple as one being better and the other worse, then there would only be the better drug left on the market.
So the answer is "it depends" - and you need to discuss it with a good neurologist who can take account of your personal circumstances
It may be you need to try one, and if that doesn't work try the other.
They are different - Sifrol (Pramipexole) is a dopamine agonist. Stalevo a levadopa supplement. As your disease progresses you might want both
Winnie, I am impressed. You are one of the most knowledgeable people in this forum.
FYI, I have talked to doctors who don't know of the 1:4 C/L ratio😂
Thank you Winnie.
Sifrol (Pramipexole) is a dopamine agonist. Dopamine agonists are associated with severe adverse effects. In my opinion they are best avoided if possible.
