"An increasing number of studies have shown that depression and/or bipolar disorder are accompanied by immune system dysregulation, inflammation, and high levels of cytokines. Researchers have found that inflammation triggers depression, almost like an allergic reaction."
I mention this here because PD is also related to inflamation.
If we eat the wrong foods, get subjected to toxins, have stress, bad bugs in the gut, it all effects the gut and causes inflammation. The gut /brain axis kicks in and it sends the bad stuff to our brain. Excess sugar in the blood vessels causes inflammation as well. I just listened to a seminar that talked about how parasites can effect our mood and thought processes as well. It gets us all the way around.
