Rats. Same thing happened with my attempt to post consumer labs report on their investigation of B vitamins brands. I'll try and figure this out.
I got in, Marc. Copied and pasted link to a browser, logged into Medscape, and got in. Very informative. Actually a series of 5 articles, connected by a theme (L-Dopa), with video talks, references, and glossary. Pretty technical, but accessible to a lay person like myself. I spent several hours on it tonight. Will review tomorrow. Thanks for posting.

PD Tulip
The red tulip has been associated with Parkinson’s awareness since 1980 when a Dutch horticulturalist who had PD developed a red and white tulip and named it “Dr. James Parkinson.” The European Parkinson’s Disease Association (EPDA) uses a stylized red tulip based on the “Dr James Parkinson” tulip as its logo. In April 2005, the red tulip was launched as the Worldwide Symbol of Parkinson’s Disease at the 9th World PD Day Conference in Luxembourg.
This stylized red tulip, with its distinctive leaves shaped like the letters “P” and “D”, was designed by early-onset Parkinson’s patient Karen Painter. Karen and her friend, Jean Burns, are behind the movement for it to become the nationally recognized symbol for Parkinson’s Disease Awareness. The PD Tulip has inspired a grassroots movement combining efforts and resources to help find a cure in our lifetimes.
A very thorough review of levodopa, aimed at neurologists and physicians. Therefore capable of misinterpretation by the general public.
To try and summarize a complicated review, The review concludes that levodopa is not toxic, and is still the best drug for managing Parkinson’s, even though with prolonged use the duration of effects becomes less, and therefore methods of prolonging the action of levodopa will benefit the patient.
I think this is a fair summary

Thanks Marc for the info. I don't understand all of it. Can anyone summarise what it's saying and what we should do please? Thanks very much.
Levodopa is not toxic, but there's a lot of good other information in there.
I don't know what pharmaceuticals are best for you, but here's 2 websites that provide good information about that. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the link. The material on diskinesia is very good although a little dated now.
