This is interesting. I'm usually eating within a 10 hour window, but occasionally eat something a little later that takes me into maybe 11 hours. I'm on day 6 of no sugar or gluten. Giving up gluten is easy, I've done it before. This is the first time for sugar. So far so good, but I do miss it.

You could quickly be used to it, and naturally avoid sugar...

Sounds good but difficult when you're having breakfast at 4:30am and don't get back from work till 4:30pm. Perhaps this has contributed to me developing PD 😕

I skip breakfast, but I believe that would be somewhat difficult for a postman. Possibly take some nuts in and have them around 9:00 am? I don't think normal eating contributes much to getting PD, but intermittent fasting helps slow the progression.

Has anyone read this book? smile.amazon.com/Starving-i...

I have watched videos on intermittent fasting and the effects on dementia, etc. It is worth a shot to try....fasting, that is.

Intermittent fasting is really in vogue right now--if you look at (and join) the group 'Delay, Don't Deny: Intermittent Fasting Support' on Facebook where members eat during a 'window'of anywhere from 1hr, to 4hrs, to 6 hrs, or 8 hrs, you will see some amazing transformations in the members over weeks or months of following the protocol. It's mainly a weight loss group, but many also do it for autophagy reasons. I personally am a member and try to restrict eating to a 4 hr window. But as in any group, of course, there's some members who are ridiculously rigid in their interpretation of the protocol, so beware--lol.
