Like myself there must be other single people who suffers PD. How do you cope alone and how do you see the future. Do you thinking of getting a caregiver and at what stage?

I'm in the process of switching my clothes - slip on shoes and clothes with buttons. Luckily I still drive. Hope you develop an appetite - maybe you need to change your menu or chef haha!

Thank you for your encouragement - I know I will be ok. I already do what you suggests - I walk 2km a day. It is also important to socialize which I do. I was a competitive cyclist till age 50 which I'm grateful. My mother (87) lives with me - she has dementia so I take care of her and can't afford PD symptoms but I sometimes have to carry on regardless - I have the courage and commitment to succeed but sometimes you feel overwhelmed by it all. Thanks again

I, too, am a caregiver, and I have Parkinson's. So, I can certainly empathize with how you feel! I feel the same way, that, at this point in my life, I can't afford PD symptoms, but I still must still carry on, no matter how I feel! It is overwhelming, and, sometimes, I get a little relief, when my daughter comes over to help. I'm thankful for that!!
