I take 2 grams of thiamine HCl twice daily per Dr. Costantini's recommendation. No adverse effects.

Regarding inosine, in my opinion taking any amount is a very bad idea. There is a large body of research showing elevated urate levels increase risk of serious adverse effects such as cardiovascular and kidney disease.

Also, unless you are diagnosed with a uric acid deficiency taking a urate-producing supplement like inosine or PEAK ATP may only help men. Many studies show there is no relationship with uric acid and women. The following article is representative of most studies.

Men with high urate were at lower Parkinson's risk in case-control study

"There was no association between blood urate and risk of Parkinson's in women."
