That is a tough question to answer because usually high protein food affects the conversion to levodopa into dopamine thus worsening movement. Quite a while ago someone on this site stated they had a asparagine deficiency and asked me what to do. I knew it was an amino acid and had to look up its properties, sources, deficiency consequences.....and I found it is abundant in, no surprise - when you look at its name, asparagus.

"Asparagine was first isolated in 1806 in a crystalline form by French chemists Louis Nicolas Vauquelin and Pierre Jean Robiquet (then a young assistant) from asparagus juice,[4][5] in which it is abundant, hence the chosen name. It was the first amino acid to be isolated."

Wikipedia

"Asparagine is an essential component of those proteins that are concerned with signalling, neuronal development and transmission across nerve endings." vitamins-supplements.org/am...

Beyond this basic information I found a related enzyme, aparagine endopeptidase, which may worsen alpha synuclein pathology.

Enzyme That May Trigger Alpha-Synuclein Aggregates and Parkinson’s Identified by Researchers

"An enzyme called asparagine endopeptidase may participate in the development of Parkinson’s disease by cleaving alpha-synuclein protein into toxic fragments, according to new research."

But alpha synculein pathology does not happen immediately after you eat a veggie (and worsen movement) so it is difficult to answer your question.

All I know is that the thinner the stalk, the more the aspergine acts to make one urinate.

My research shows that asparagus has the highest amount of glutathione of all vegetables. Whether it can contribute to glutathione in the brain is unknown. Apparently it has other properties that are messing with you.
