Hi Bailey, we reached a high of 9c today, quite warm for this time of year here in sleepy Norfolk uk, just raked up the last of the autumn leaves👍 My Wife who was diagnosed with PD in September has just got out of hospital with pneumonia, she is coping ok with her pd but is worried about her speech and her writing has just gone, she struggles to write her signature, she to see her neurologist tomorrow. Merry Christmas

Good morning.

Sunny today and looks great out. Any time i can get some sun my day is off to a good start. When i was diagnosed 11 years ago i could not write my name but now i can write pages most of the time. With a bit of luck a good Doctor and good meds your wife will get her hand writhing back along with her speech. Do every thing you can to remove stress from her life and keep her moving. Just walking around in the house will help.

You do have some crazy weather there. I spent some time in Greenville TX. Played some racket ball and got all hot and sweaty so sat out on the balcony and a cool breeze swept in so we went inside. Woke up to below freezing temps with wet hair. It literally froze when the wind blew it. I have never seen such a temperature shift in so little time.

I had the same problem with writing before diagnosis but do okay now as long as my meds are working. Has she found some effective meds? Sinemet has worked great for me so far.

@Bailey_Texas I called Zig Zillar's office one day. The receptionist answered the phone, "It's a beautiful day at Zig Zillar's, but it is raining in Dallas." Her weather was whatever she wanted to focus on. . I Iove that story. I tell it often.

So cold in San Francisco last night I went up to my roof garden and put a blanket over my plants. Not cold enough to be considered cold by some of you, but in the low 30s. My sister in Colorado emailed me it was -4 there!

Hello from Ontario, Legs and back sore from using snow blower 4 days in a row . Spruce tree on front lawn has snow so deep you can hardily see the Christmas lights I put up. Chickadees are using the warming box I made for them and the bird feeder is taking a big hit and needs filling every two days. I have not seen a squirrel or a bluejay for a week now and the peanuts are still under the picnic table. Beginning to look a lot like Christmas. News that someone saw a very big Northern Owl just outside of town. If the Owls are starting to come down south already it is going to be a wild and woolly winter of cold, ice, wind and snow. Hold on to your hat.

No- it's winter! In fact, we are two days away from longest night - winter solstice. So it's a bit grey. But I like winter. I cut some berries and holly this weekend and they look great.
