I hope this research results in a good PD therapy but this type of investigation takes years and an immediate therapy will not be forth coming.

If depression is an issue for PD look into omega-3s:

Depression in Parkinson's disease: a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled pilot study of omega-3 fatty-acid supplementation.

CONCLUSION:

"These results reveal that PD patients taking fish oil, with or without antidepressants, presented improvement in depressive symptoms and indicate that the intake of omega-3 can be used with an antidepressant effect or as adjuvant therapy with some other medication. This is a first pilot study with parkinsonian patients and omega-3 supplementation and requires replication in a larger sample."

Not all fish oil is created equal and whatever you buy it should be distilled at a molecular level to remove heavy metals and toxins. I prefer either salmon or cod liver oil. In the future I will try kril oil because it lacks much of the toxins that become saturated in fish.

Not come across this particular research but google "Parkinsons and blue light" and you will see work that has been done with blue light and PD symptoms

Not what you're looking for?
