Yes and It is awful. I was diagnosed at 49, now I am 58. Mine started about 2 0r 3 years ago. I had DBS surgery in 2010 and it's less noticeable now.

I was 45 when diagnosed now 51 years old. Glad to hear the DBS was of some help. Unfortunately for me I'm on Warfarin for an upper arm DVT so the neurosurgeons don't want to risk dbs right now. BTW ''jazzfan' I'm a big jazz fan as well! If you are on Facebook.......I'm Timo Levodopa. Thanks for the input!

I have noticed in the last year that my issue is mostly on the left side of my face. it usually goes up, i get asked alot of why am i smiling which is not an issue exceptwhen someone is talking to me about something of a serious issue. then i just tell them i;m not its just what my face does. my parkinson's is mostly on my right, and I've had the dbs in 2008. but my left side has been kinda marching to its own tune here of late.
