Well we cant advise and Im not on stalevo but if i feel like a wine i have one. Trouble is it doesnt taste as good as it used to. What reason did your doctor give?

Sounds like you could be assessed for depression treatment. Its very common in PD and so is anxiety.

I don't suppose taking a glass of wine perhaps with a little water will hurt anyone, best to see if you can drink it without you having any problems, and if so, have a drink.

However do not drink too much.

Alcohol is also a bit of a depressent so it might make you more depressed afterwards.

Just be careful.

Well justmejudi, I gave up alcohol voluntarily when I stated on medication some 8 years ago (Dx 11 years) and have found since that a small libation is OK. Remember I am a PwP not a medical man.

I found that I have lost the taste for all alcohol except sparkling white and champagne which I enjoy very infrequently

Turning to your depression - which I have suffered from - I would suggest you change your ID and remove the "just" - it's a small point but you are not just Judi you ARE Judi

The first stage in fighting depression is to be proud of who and what you are

End of sermon - and keep exercising!!

Kind regards
