My husband has problemswith swallowing. Sometimes he throat constricts, his tongue and lips swell. Are these two connected with PD?

has he seen a doctor? I personally don't have this problem, but I know that swallowing is a problem with some in PD. But swelling sounds like an allergic reaction to something. I'm not a doctor but I'd be calling one or heading to the ER.
I'm a former ER nurse, and those symptoms could be a serious allergic reaction.
I have PD and have same problem until I was sent by specialist to a speech therapist gave me instruction on how to swallow etc I know how he feels
