I have heard of others having the cumpulsive behaviours, I have not had that myself.
I experienced compulsive, unwanted and disturbing sexual fantasizing for months. My neuro took me off Mirapex and prescribed Azilect. The fantasies (and some associated behaviors) returned for a while but I have not been troubled by this demoralizing symptom for many weeks now. I hope it's gone forever.
One of my parkie Facebook pals in Chile posted that she had had a disastrous bout of compulsive gambling that consumed her entire pension check. She told me that she broke that habit when she was reduced to selling household odds and ends in the open air market. She did not mention any change in her meds.
I had/have a shopping addiction. I changed meds and it seems to be going away...slowly. Was not fun and I really understand addictions and people who have them a lot more now. Was a very weird and "out of body" experience. Still paying off that little side-effect.
