AUS and Tri-mix or bi-mix??

Hello everyone.

I have been recently activated (2 months) with my AUS and so far so good. No major problems. My question is for the guys out these who are using either Tri-mix or Bi-mix and how it is working with your AUS. Number 1 is, any issues? Number 2 is, which have you found works better? Any thoughts on how the meds react with the tissue around the cuff area.

I'm getting ready to talk to my Urologist about it but was really hoping to get some comments first. Any thoughts or comments will be greatly appreciated!

Hi Mark,

Bi-Mix is basically an option if there is a sensitive to prostaglandin. So normally you start with Tri-Mix and move to Bi-Mix if there are problems.

Thanks Michael, sounds like no issue with a AUS then. That's good news. I was asking about the Mix because I don't want to chance a vacuum pump which is what I had been using. I was afraid of the constriction band interfering with the hose to the cuff.Plus...I am thinking Bi Mix because I had a friend in our support group who ended up in the ER because of priapism. I was figuring to start very conservatively.
