One of the things that has got to happen is that the stigma surrounding incontinence has to go away. And the best way in the world for that to happen is for people to be open about it and not treat it like this closet disease. When there are 400 million (they figure 500 million by 2019) people affected by incontinence, this is not something that is just happening to a few people, or just you and no one else. THIS IS HUGE!

This is a story from Twila, who isn't even afraid to have her name associated with her story. She speaks aloud about her issues with her bladder, and she knows by continuing to share her story in different venues, others may seek the help they need and the support they richly deserve from friends, family and community.
