This is an important study that shows that there is a risk increase of dementia for the elderly who use anticholinergic drugs for urinary incontinence, Parkinson's, and depression, but not for other uses. Please report any adverse effects you might have or that you see in someone you are caring for, and be aware of this higher risk potential in older persons. These drugs are used for overactive bladder (OAB).
