My son is 4 weeks post kasai how do i know if its worked or not ? He is over feeding again stools pale urine dark and still very jaundice

Blake's jaundice took a while to clear. His stools can still be all over the place at times & his urine has always been darker than you would expect. He had his Kasai on the 31st July but has now officially cleared his jaundice. Try not to panic it does all take time to settle but ring cns if you are concerned x

Hi, I was going to say the same as Blazer, if you're concerned contact your liver centre for advice. My son has ALGS not BA but from other Mums I have also heard that things can take some time to settle. If you're on facebook there is a Liver Mums group for UK parents that is very good. x
