Not usually a daily mail reader, but this is a peer reviewed infographic and has just been published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine bjsm.bmj.com

Interesting, I had forgotten about IC, although a former nurse! Getting old!

I have Fibromyalgia, and am very stiff, especially in my back, but I do walk quite a lot with my Rollator.

I used to be a very fit, sporty person; unfortunately no more, but I keep walking as much as I can, in order to Keep out of the wheelchair which lurks in my cupboard.

I might try to find a Tai Chi class, at least that is all standing; couldn't cope with yoga or dance any more.

Thank you,

Cheers, Midori

Hi Midori, I do believe that all the sporty stuff we do when we are able does help as age or illness rears its head! Well done for seeing what you can do.

Interesting point about forgetting about IC. I didn’t have a clue that I had a serious problem - just thought I was slow in walking....

Keep walking and I’d love to know how the Tai Chi goes.
