I have a connective tissue disease which affects blood vessels. I have had a stent put in my femoral artery near my quad area. Within 8 months it has restenosis to 80% blockage. Dr. Says I shouldn’t wait to repair it. He will do an arterectomey to fix it. Has anyone had this type of repair, and if so what results did you get.

I don’t have an experience of stenting yet so I can’t help. As no-one on HU has come back to you- could you ask your Dr to put you in touch with one of her/his patients who has had the same type of repair?
Do you have much of a choice but to have the surgery ?
