Has anyone been offered Supervised Exercise classes for PAD

Hi

I have PAD and have never been offered any exercise classes despite this being the optimum treatment and recommended by NICE.

It makes me pretty frustrated and cross when I read how our Cardiac friends are offered cardiac rehab and how “social prescribing”is going to be increased, but that those of us with PAD seem to be ignored.

Have I got it wrong?

Just read this. I haven't but know someone who has.

If I were you I'd phone your Vascular Consultant's secretary or Nurse and ask to be referred to the exercise class.

Or maybe you already got it sorted? Hope so.
