PAD Support

I would love to give and get some support from other people with PAD. I am 56 and was diagnosed 18 months ago and it would really help to be in a community who really understand!

Hi; I'm also 56 with a severe lower leg rash that looks like a "Venous Insufficiency eczema" I went in yesterday to see a VON to change the bandage, but I'm going in for an arterial Leg test on the 5th, to determine exactly what is the cause or where the blockage is exactly. Can't wait to know and try and get this over with. This problem started in 2017 went in the emergency they gave me antibiotics did not go any further to see for sure what was up, so it came back a few months ago with a vengeance the rash is even bigger but this time no infection.

I don’t have any experience of this, it sounds very uncomfortable. Does it stop you getting about day today?

At least your appt is this next week and you should start to get some answers and move forward.

Hi...I too am 56 lol! Must be the age of PAD. Looking back I have had it a long while.
