Supplements?

I have read a bit about specific supplements that are of benefit for chronic myofascial pain (such as Coenzyme Q10) and was just wondering if anyone here has tried anything that proved to be beneficial?

I find magnesium bisglycinate helpful. It is the most bioavailable form and the most helpful for muscular pain from what I've researched. You can also absorb magnesium via the skin in an Epsom salt bath for 15-20 minutes. If possible, it's typically better to get your minerals and vitamins through food. Home made bone broth is loaded with nutrients such as vit K, magnesium and collagen which heal the gut and are nutrient dense. Good idea to see if you have leaky gut too. Many people do and that causes toxins to go into the blood stream and cause a lot of problems in the brain and system in general.

I took ubiquinol for a few months it's what Q10 is broken down into the body as. It worked out at expensive for the dose of 300mg per day. I did find I had more energy but not pain relief and when I stopped buying it due to finances I can't definitively say it was the ubiquinol or a placebo effect because I feel the same amount of energy at the moment. I find magnesium oil and yoga is the best helpers for my pain and throwing a tsp of turmeric with ground black pepper into a smoothy keeps the inflammation down within reason. If I push myself with too many commitments I'm back to the start again.
