It occurred to me the other day, that dealing with chronic myofascial pain is somewhat similar to the game Whack-a-Mole - you know, the game where you have to 'whack' the moles when they pop up, but as soon as you get rid of one another pops up, and then another and then another etc?! Sound familiar?! Anyway, that's all. Just thought I'd share

Random Musing...
Or like playing darts blindfolded when you have so many trigger points in hard to reach places you don't even know where to begin. Sort of a random, desperate act of valour trying to treat all those muscles while new tps keep developing and old ones resurrect themselves.
Aye, that sums it up pretty accurately! I got the Davies trigger point workbook just recently, and I am finding trigger points all over the place! Also bought a Body Back Buddy but I am finding it hard to get to grips with, so still prefer using my hands, but I have tension and trps in my forearms, so probably not the best method!
That book is a great and informative resource. The BBB is a bit of a beast to get used to. It's literally hard to get a handle on. Hands are good and easier to control but be careful not to strain them. I lean against the wall with a hard ball to do my arms, hands, forearms and it's quite effective.
Totally! They constantly reproduce & multiply! It's absolutely infuriating. They also seem to try & escape when you try your best to obliterate the buggers!!
