How deeply you've been impacted by your difference?

Hi Younique, this is a great question! Here at Changing Faces we find that many people don't tell their family how deeply they are affected by their difference because they don't want to worry them or think they might not understand. I wonder what other members of the community think: talk to family members about your feeling around visible difference?

I found it hard to talk to my family as I'm embarrassed about how much the change has affected me mentally. I don't want them to know how self-concious i've become. Not sure what to do.
