How the world (at times) can see us

As an adult with three learning issues (adhd/learning disability, and slightly dyslexic) I've see/heard at times what some people in the world thinks about us. As mentally unable to function as normal adults. Meaning: that we can get a college degree, get a good paying job, afford our own places to live, afford our own car (gas, maintenance, insurance, etc), get married, have kids, have any sort of live that we can function as well as others that don't have any sort of learning issue, etc. Some people (not saying who) have stated in front of my face that because of the fact that I'm a female with learning issues that they didn't want me to succeed in the way that I wanted to succeed. That's one of the worst things to say about anyone with or without a disability. So, basically because I'm a girl with learning issues certain people in society don't want me to get a job that pays well at all. That they rather have me be financially dependant on certain people so that I can't have my own live. That's basically what this person has said. Plus, they won't admit to it if I say anything about it. The same people (again I'm not saying how) has told me that (also because I'm a female with a disability) that I shouldn't even conceive of getting married/having a kid nor trying to adopt a kid either. That hurts. At the same time this is the same person that wants me to work with kids. So imagine how (all though I never mention it) hurt I get working with kids knowing that to certain people I'm not worth that type of love.
