I am trying to learn more about health issues that are priority for the patients and their expectations for possible treatments.

I am conducting series of preference studies around the APAC region to understand patient preference and satisfaction with the patient care. Such preference studies may provide valuable insights into the treatment characteristics desired by renal cell carcinoma patients.

However, keep in mind that this would not result in any changes to the patient’s current standards of care or medications intake from our behalf. The findings from these discussions will inform the development of an electronic survey that will later be applied to a larger group of advanced RCC patients.

The study will cover the areas that need improvement by holding an interview with a patient of Renal Cell Carcinoma in Hong Kong. During the interview, the patient will be asked about their current treatment, the challenges they are facing with the treatment and discuss how treatments can be improved in the future.

As I approach such sensitive topics with the utmost respect, so only If the patient agrees, I will require one hour of their time for a Zoom audio interview.

The patient’s identity will be kept confidential, and they can choose not to answer a question or to leave the meeting at any point. For their valuable time, we will be a compensated interview, so the compensation is 1000 HKD/hr.
