It's unlikely you have cirrhosis but consult your Dr for confirmation.Giving up drinking is probably going to improve your general health even if you don't have cirrhosis!
See your doctor for some basic tests to see if indeed you have any liver damage. You need to know in order to get appropriate treatment going forward. In order to live a long and healthy life (even if you do have cirrhosis) then you need to be properly monitored and any symptoms relating to the cirrhosis treated etc.
From the few symptoms you describe it doesn't at all sound like you have cirrhosis or liver failure but only some medical tests can confirm this. Get checked out.
Please take a breathe and take it a bit easy. While it is possible you have cirrhosis, it is not likely. It is more likely you have some kind of early liver issues, many if not all will resolve with a better diet and no more drinking. Are you willing to do that? If you are, your kids will have you around. If not....
But for now, relax, no drinking, good diet and go get the tests done and you should get peace of mind. I would be optimisitc if I were you, but please improve your lifestyle (it's not that tough to do). Good luck!
That's good news, you should be reassured that your liver is not cirrhotic and you're not suffering liver failure. Take this as a big warning though, you want to be around for your little one so alcohol should be a thing of the past. Not much point scaring yourself silly one moment then resuming old habits. Time to start 'loving your liver' as the British Liver Trust advises - alcohol is a poison which none of us and our livers certainly doesn't need. britishlivertrust.org.uk/in...
I echoe almost everyone on here. However I feel obligated to say I went from having great blood work one year to skipping a year due to Covid and my liver took a big hit. Looking back I was likely already at f3 and didn’t know it. You typically have signs but often ignore or deny them while on the booze. If you quit drinking and only have those signs you are likely not in the cirrhosis stage. But I’m begging you don’t drink again. I’m 39 and never in a million years thought I would get cirrhosis with the amount I drank.
