It looks like this test is more about bile salt malabsorbtion and may be looking more at your 'yellow poop' issue rather than liver specific. Here's a link explaining it that may prove useful. guysandstthomas.nhs.uk/heal...

No, I’ve had a sehcat scan. It’s to measure how much bile is in your system and diagnose bile acid malabsorption (bam for short). Basically, When you eat, your gallbladder releases bile for digestion. Any unused bile should be reabsorbed and reused. When it’s not, it reaches the colon, and because it shouldn’t be there the body flushes it out, hence the urgent watery diarrhoea. There are many reasons for bam. Some get after gallbladder removal so the liver just drips bile rather than the gallbladder holding it until it’s needed. Some have bowel resections or other surgery in that area. Some, like me, just have. But would add I have nafld so mine is probably due to fatty liver. But the test is purely to check the bile not the liver. You would have blood tests, ultrasounds and fibro scans for liver. Hope my basic biology helps.
