Best/ worst foods for the liver

I was wondering if anyone would mind sharing advice on what you’ve been told to eat and drink that’s good for the liver and also things to avoid please.

As you don't have a diagnosis of liver disease you should be at a stage where you do all the right things to 'Look After Your Liver' and the British Liver Trust has a great page all about this plus about diet. The Mediterranean style diet has also been found to be beneficial in preventing fatty liver disease so that might be worth a look too.

If you were ever to be diagnosed with any liver disease then seek referral to a specialist dietician to give you individualized advice as to what and how to eat as it differs from condition to condition and stage of disease.
