I understand exactly how you feel. Something like medical purgatory awaiting judgment. I'm in the same situation but maybe a few steps behind you as I have not gotten my mri yet, thats next week.
It’s awful . I had gastroscopy for gastritis , which showed hypertension in oesophages and stomach , then ct and then mri 11 days ago . I hope I don’t have to go over the weekend .
The mri is fine don’t worry you have a cannula in and have to do a lot of breathing in and out but it’s fine .
I've been through so much over the years without a diagnosis. 5 colonoscopies, 3 upper endoscopies, 4th one next week. Multiple ct scans. I've also done many mri of my head due to a brain injury. I've had a bowel resection due to prolapse and my blood is thin and doesn't clot fast enough and they have yet to figure it out. This is the first time in years they even considered my liver as I'm lean and don't drink. It took some spider angiomas and palmars erythema for my gi doc to realize my liver is likely in trouble...12 ct over 8 years all show hepatomegaly, some show nutmeg liver and gallbladder decompression but nobody connected the dots until some subtle skin changes happened. Its infuriating and terrifying. I keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
