Hello, I have been diagnosed for the second time in 2.5 years with chloestatic hepatitis. Doctor said it's like lighting striking twice, but I think it's more. My Dr. Thinks its either drug induced or viral, but neither of those make since. Has anyone had chloestatic hepatitis more than once?

Hi Yaalb
Had to google this for my own benefit as I have never heard of that condition 😑😕! I found this:-
“cholestatic hepatitis” is any form of liver disease that causes inflammation of the liver and a problem with bile transport.”
There may be better explanations!
Needless to say therefore, I have no experience of this particular condition, but do hope someone on here can help?
Good luck.
Miles
Good afternoon Yaalb,
May I suggest you discuss with your doctors a full liver screen or further investigation - if nothing else. to give you peace of mind .
I have included a link to liver disease tests explained and the patients charter for your information

I hope this helps,

Thanks, I have done a full work up from biopsy to eus-ercp. Everything comes back normal except for the bloodwork and biopsy says I have chloestatic hepatitis. The biopsy said I have zero fibrosis which is good. It's just strange to have this happen twice. Seems more than a coincidence.
