Trying to function with exhaustion

Liver disease gives us a very unique type of exhaustion that is not always sorted with a nap. We are moving and have spent the week getting the house ready for market. It has been a week of packing and purging but the toughest part has been battling fatigue and lack of strength. I seem to constantly eat yet am losing weight rather quickly. My arms and legs ache but that is more likely the cancer meds I take. My liver really seems to be struggling under all of the physical activity. Liver disease is so frustrating. You can't see it but it sure influences every aspect of life. As for results my last bloods are no better but no worse. I'm holding my own but after the move I am back to focusing on quality of diet, rest and exercise.

Oh my liz poor poor you - you seem to have everything bad going on at the same time. Moving house yoiks that stress along with your illness. Hats off to you for coping with all this 👍.

Really hope move happens soon (?) so you can get it over with and, as you say, are able to rest rest rest - the other two things as well but...,.

Good luck in everything happening at the moment.

I know what you mean by the exhaustion. I’m struggling to keep going with it as well at the moment. Everyone says to me if your that tired go to bed and have a rest, but that doesn’t make any difference does it. I really hope your move goes smoothly as possible as that is stressful even for healthy people. My stress at the moment is coming from bickering family who all live in the same town as me, so I may join you on the moving house thing😉

Liver disease is very frustrating as you can have days where you feel really crap. At least by coming on here we know that we are not alone. Take care x

Oh that’s a lot to tackle when you have a cold never mind what you are going through. You’ll be naturally tired and then the fatigue on top of that too, it hits you like a brick wall. I hope you can get moved pretty quick and get yourself settled in your new home. All the best 🌻
