Probably best to go and have a chat with your Doctor if you are concerned & wottied.

All the best.

Alcohol will increase your anxiety, long term use causes damage. Make a GP appointment and discuss your concerns and be honest about your drinking.

Probably not at 22, but at the very least you’ll end up as one of those obese 30 year olds you see now and think “wow!” I ended up as an obese 40 year old from drinking. That was easily fixed, but ten times harder was the dependence on alcohol I’d picked up on the way. Drinking heavily messes with your brain signals, and at the rate you’re going you’re odds on to become an addict like I was.

If you go to your GP (a good idea, they will help and won’t tell you off), go armed with the facts: how much you drink (units), why you drink heavily, any symptoms or aches and pains and your plan (cut down or quit).

It sounds like you are suffering from health anxiety. There are more causes of cirrhosis than just alcohol and whilst it is possible to suffer from one of these and have cirrhosis early in life it would be indicated in either symptoms or your doctors tests which you've had which already came up clear.

You don't have jaundice as evidenced from your earlier photograph and blood test results you have had.

If you think that you are drinking too much then it is time to kick that habit into touch and get healthier. Drink is only going to make you more and more anxious.

See your doctor as others have suggested, tackle the drinking and fingers crossed what ever you think is going on can be remedied.

sorry but yes i would say posible my wife drank vodka (worst thing you can drink) for about a year about a 1/4 bottle a day and her liver was shot had a transplant just over two years ago, it is different people react differently my wife had very little to drink but i have mates who drink about 2 bottles of spirits a day and have done for 30 years with no problems,

I would be suprised if you have got a problem but as the othes have said go see your GP tell him your ills and your worries

Hello Knknkn. it is possible to become an Alcoholic extremely fast. I drank for over 40 years and now go to AA for past 8 years. Drinking with your condition is extremely dangerous and could be FATAL . If you are struggling with you drinking I strongly suggest you try AA. they saved my life. Keep well.

I'm so glad you are on here right now.I bet we all wish we had the knowledge you can gain at 22. I would be shocked if you had any liver problems , but please don't take your body signal lightly. You can bypass 30-40 yrs of anquish and, torture if you look into lifestyle changes early in life. You have your whole future in front of you and can live a fulfilled ,awesome drug and alcohol free existence.I sure wish you well😀 Take care.
