I have about 4 marks that are on my chest only itching for the past few days and wondered if this could be liver disease l have fatty liver

Hi impossible for any of us to make a judgement on that but I would suggest not in my experience. Itching from fatty liver tends to be on legs and arms ...can be elsewhere like scalp but doesn’t normally manifest itself in marks.

Unlikely. Itching caused by liver disease is usually more of a "whole body" experience, arms, legs, palm, sole. Other areas of the body may be involved, BUT one important point being, that there is no rash. Rash can develop later FROM scratching , but initially no rash is seen. Go and see your doctor so you can be reassured. Don't worry too much until then.

Thanks for the in l was a heavy wine drinker for years got an ultrasound around this time a year ago came back fatty but my blood work showed orion overload. I don't think even with all that drinking about 1 liter a day could produce liver disease in that span off time, what do you think.

Don’t forget fatty liver is liver disease-can be reversed though with life style changes-all depends how much you were drinking and for how long?
