Liver cirrhosis

Phone call from doc today,iron level is low so they will go ahead with colonoscopy,what joy.

What a joy indeed lol

Only had that once. The good lady doctor said:

Don't be embarressed if you get wind! as it has some some sort of air squirter on it! Well lubed up she proceeded to carry out the examination and whilst doing so the light on it went out, she pulled it out and said sorry its been playing up. She then did it again and the light went out one more time. Not to worry as it stayed on at the 3rd pass!!

Needless to say I'm not a fan of colonoscopies.

i was always anaemic for years... no cause ever found. then I had a transplant in may this year.. and since then my iron has been higher and gradually rising so I wonder if it is a problem related to liver problems.

I think you are right because your absorbtion of nutrients is poor, on iron tabs then after examination some other kind of iron tab, beyond me thought iron was iron, glad your well.
