yes, it is 100% True.

cancer patients should NOT have any more sweets / sugar at all , not even the sugar free substitutes.

pls look in website : becomehealthyorextinct.com and download the book in pdf format,

it's legal and it's free.

You are absolutely right! Sugar feeds cancer!

You do not want to raise your blood sugar levels & insulin levels. High insulin &blood sugar , both fasting & after food ,are associated with increased metastasis.

Avoid all sweeteners except Stevia. Aspartame, sucralose, honey, jaggery , tubinado sugar, brown sugar , demerara sugar are all the ones you want to avoid.

You also dont want to eat food that spikes(suddenly increases) your blood sugar & insulin levels. I am referring to the Glycemic Index.Eat low GI food.

For instance, Jasmine rice is high GI, but Basmati rice is low GI. When rice is mixed with dal, it reduces the GI.

Thank you so much for your advice. I will follow this religiously from today though I do not take any sugar in my tea and coffee and do avoid aerated drinks too but I was taking some sweets like all Bengalis do. How long ago did you have the disease if I may ask. Thanx once again.

All are right here, but I believe, there is no need to completely cut down sugar. You can very well have tea or coffee with minimal sugar, not a problem at all; sugar is an essential part of food, you cannot completely avoid it. But aerated drinks and other sweets, yes, very much try to avoid them. So basically, you can cut down significantly on sugars and carbs, but no need to stop sugar in 'essential' forms
