Congratulations Jenny I am so happy for you. I'm still struggling on my journey, had chemo no 5 last week but seem to feel worse again this time? It's nearly finished then have surgery and hopefully on road to recovery then. I so hope so but feel so happy for you, it's so nice to hear from someone doing well :-) good luck xx

Thank you, sorry to read that you're struggling with chemo, I didn't have chemo so all I can do is send good luck love and hugs your way

Hi Birthday2018

Sorry to hear your struggling with your latest Chemo, I’m afraid it does have a bit of a cumulative effect so you can feel worse after the later ones.

Let them know on the Unit before your next one, your almost there now, don’t try to fight it, just rest & let it do its job, before you know it you’ll be waiting for your 12months review.

Best of Luck with your Surgery too, l had mine the other way around, Surgery first, then Chemo.

Best Wishes 🌺

Thanks MrsNails, I had heard it can feel worse the more you have. I am keeping notes of all the ill effects or problems I am having and usually discuss with the chemotherapy doctor when she rings. I'm feeling exhausted and very emotional about it all. I am staying on track though, keep fighting and one day soon things will get better. Thanks so much for coming back to me, enjoy yourself whatever you decide to do everyday, live life to the full xx

Glad it helped, wallpapering a feature wall in the lounge, it’s looking fantastic!

Just take care of yourself & indulge yourself, look after your hands & nails especially with the cooler weather coming & do let us know how you get on 🌺

MrsN xx

Hi sounds like you are doing a good job and enjoying it. I'm glad. I am working on being kinder to myself which the BC Nurse has said and also the hospital. I have been told to look after my nails so plan to do that now, abit of pampering will be good for me I'm sure. I will stay in touch yes, it will be nice to hear how things are going with you and hopefully I can tell you how I am doing too xx

Thank you, and I really appreciate the hugs as apart from that good news I've had a falling out with a friend over my health issues and somehow I've got to try and put it right

β€’ in reply toJennymary

Oh dear Jennymary, that’s a shame, l hope you can sort it out. 🌺

Thank you Mrs nails, she said something to me at the start of the year in relation to my vision loss when I was an emotional wreck, when I texted her about the mammogram results I said I'd found it emotionally offensive and she doesn't understand why so all week I've been composing a letter in my head, we've been friends since our school days (40 yrs) so hopefully it'll resolve itself x

β€’ in reply toJennymary

I do hope so, friendships can be tested when one of you is unwell. One of my friends upset me last year when she told me she was as taking another friend of hers for radiotherapy everyday & she never even came to see me at home, after my surgery or Chemo & it hurt!.....

Good Luck πŸ€ with the letter, keep emotion out of it if you can & the third draft is often the best! xx

Thank you, in my head I'm on about draft number 25, but I think I'm settling on a diary of what happened each month between September 2017 and May 2018, hope you and your friend have repaired your friendship x

β€’ in reply toJennymary

Unfortunately, it’ll never be the same, you really find out who your true friends are that’s for sure.

Keep working on your draft & good luck πŸ€

Off to mind my granddaughter for an hour! Lovely πŸ’•
