Congratulations on surviving 5 years, I'm a 2 1/2 year survivor so hopefully I'll put a similiar post on this forum in November 2018, when I'll be 5 years clear, and you are so right about staying positive x

Congratulations to Susjay and Abcdefghijkl60 for having passed your 5 years being clear of the cancer. Wish Jennymary and myself to write, at the end of the treatment, a similar message. By the way, I imagine that if you stop taking the medicine after five years, it means you're taking Anastrazole or Letrozole as if you took Tamoxifen, it would be for another five years.

I'm in the middle of treatment for breast cancer. Just finished chemo last week and having mastectomy in a few weeks. Good to hear so many positive stories. Keeps me going

Delighted for you Susjay, I am coming up to two years next month, while going through all the treatment I stayed positive, time doesn't wait for no man so just enjoy every day wether good or bad, here's to tomorrow and a long life xx
