Hi Tilu. I asked this at my support group last summer, 6 months after my op. I was told by our nurse that air trapped under the bone could be a worry but only for the first few months after the op, the body absorbs any air over time. I hope he has a good time, wherever he's going.

Hi I had an aneurysm and it was clipped and patched over 20 years and I have been flying every year for 11 years and I have been fine. I had 2 patches and 2 clips and I have been fine flying, I did think the security scanner may set it off but I have been fine.
