Hi Christine. I too had a sah and a stroke in April last year. It is a very slow process to recover, isn't it.

I have recently started a return to work under the guidance of the hospital clinical psychologist. This is to help me from taking a step backwards, in terms of fatigue and she has been so helpful.

I am a travel agent and definitely know that I can be of help to you.

If you would like to email me, my address is:

Judith.bates@premier-travel.co.uk

I do understand the difficulties that can arise when using a wheelchair because my mum was totally paralysed for 18 years and we relied on the wheelchair.

Please feel free to ask me any questions, I would be delighted to help.

Best wishes

Judith

Hi Christine

Have you thought of hiring a portable hoist for the duration of your holiday? It could be delivered to the holiday home and collected again on your last morning there.

If you need any help with this, please let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Have a good weekend

Best wishes

Hi Judith, it so nice to see a kind person like yourself someone in need. I also had a ruptured aneurysms and was in the hospital over 40 days spent my 50th birthday at the hospital but was happy because my doctor saved my life. I had therapy for 3 months and went back to work full time. It feels so good to talk to someone about my condition. I was very quiet for a very long time. Have a great night.
