My question is.. Do you get tested for Clamidiya when you're pregnant through your urine or blood tests as routine?

Hi,
The urine if for any infection such UTI. I would imagine chlamydia would be a part of that too. The blood samples are for things like HIV xx
They offer you an all round check at your scan sometimes when they send your urine sample off. You can request it if you're worried. Blood test is mainly looking for HIV.

Hi there
Not unless you are under 25, as this is the most common age group where Chlamydia occurs. You'll be offered a blood test for three infectious diseases: HIV, hepatitis B and syphilis. This is usually offered at an appointment with a midwife when you are around 8-12 weeks pregnant. If you have concerns about Chlamydia talk to your midwife or GP about being tested for it.
I hope this helps
Best wishes
Katherine
