I was back at work yesterday and quite happy on reception, someone came through and said oh by the way the smoking bin is on fire, and this is attatched to the wall and then he walked off, Me chuntering went and got some water to find another smoker just looking at it , at which I chuntered even more. Anyway I put the thing out but the smell of old smoke and damp smoke really upset me, took me ages to calm down

I was not happy

Pity you didn't throw the water over the smoker. Is it really part of job to be part-time fireman?

A community centre I worked in had a notice:

NO SMOKING IN THIS BUILDING

Staff are advised that if they see anyone smoking within the building then it should be assumed that the person is on fire and they should take appropriate action.
